Meridian IQ named to Inbound Logistics 2004 Top 100 Logistics Information Technology Providers

OVERLAND PARK, KS, May 24, 2004- Meridian IQ announced today that it has been named a 2004 Top 100 Logistics Information Technology Provider for the second consecutive year by Inbound Logistics Magazine.

The editors of Inbound Logistics compared and researched more than 300 logistics IT providers to select The Top 100 list. Selection criteria focus on companies that provide transportation-related technology solutions that best meet the diverse needs of Inbound Logistics readers.

“Given the vigor in the logistics technology segment, it's impressive to see Meridian IQ providing the kinds of solutions Inbound Logistics readers need. It's tough to keep up with customer needs in any environment, but the speed with which change is happening is a testament to the ability of Meridian IQ to keep pace and in some cases anticipate customers' evolving needs,” said Felecia Stratton, Editor Inbound Logistics. For that reason, Inbound Logistics editors have recognized Meridian IQ as one of this year's Top 100 Logistics IT companies."

"We are honored by this recognition of our commitment to providing effective logistics IT solutions," said Jim Ritchie, President and CEO of Meridian IQ. "While technology is one component of the service offering we provide, our clients put a high value on our ability to deliver a solution that is automated by a dynamic IT backbone that we own and maintain versus logistics providers who are dependent on an outside party for technology. We will continue to build our IT infrastructure in a manner that enables us to execute solutions quickly and effectively for our clients. ”

Inbound Logistics 2004 Top 100 Logistics Information Technology Provider list appears in the April 2004 issue and is available online at www.inboundlogistics.com.
